Different Ways of Home Interior Decorating Small spaces generally have a cozier and warm feel than large spaces. It is very easy to enhance this coziness with warm colors and lots of draperies and decorative pillows.

It is also possible to give small room an airier and wider feel. The best idea to visually enlarge your room is to use light and bright colors. Cool colors as green and blue tend to recede from the eye and therefore give a larger feel to a room. This effect can be enhanced by painting the trims, borders and moldings in a lighter color than the walls. This will make the walls appear further away and thus the room appears bigger. When choosing the colors, keep contrast levels down. Use colors that are in the same color family rather than contrasting colors. This will make the place cozier and less chaotic.

Another idea for creating visual effects by using color is to paint a single wall in a rich color and keep the other walls light. Because the stronger colors attract all the attention, the other walls seem to fall away. Besides this, the ceiling should always be painted in stark white, no matter the color of the walls. The white ceiling will maximize brightness in the room.

A garden gives an opportunity to create a natural area in the backyard or common area. Choosing wooden garden furniture calls for some special skills. Wooden garden furniture can suffer through exposure to the elements and therefore needs to be periodically treated, for example with varnish. Traditional carpentry work makes garden furniture perfect. Wooden Garden furniture needs some kind of maintenance during winter. Wood products are natural-made and hence it will definitely react to environmental changes. Hardwood Garden Furniture, sometimes, get cracks due to excessive heat during summer. However, this will not affect the durability, if good quality wood like cedar wood is used. Original color of the wooden garden furniture may be maintained by using natural wood oil or natural color varnish.

Dirt on the wooden garden furniture surface can be removed with warm soap water. Roughness can be swept away by using certain non-toxic chemicals and excess oil can be wiped off. This exercise should be done at the beginning of winter and summer.

A decorative garden planter made up of wood is ideal for small plants or trees. Carved wooden garden planter looks elegant and enhances the garden beauty. Wooden Garden Planters are available in different sizes to suit individual preferences. Wooden garden sculptures exhibits fine workmanship. These creations indeed express one’s love for art and are creative pieces of art that enhance the beauty of the garden .

Country Home Decor comes simply by observing every day objects imagining endless possibilities. Patch work quilts over an Abe Lincoln bed cozies up an empty room. Country decor is a bird's nest set in grape vines hung over a front door. Making something out of almost nothing is country. The feeling of going back home to our stomping grounds. Painting rocks, painting on old books, skates or old windows. Country is the time of the Prairie days or when mom rang the dinner bell with the old cow bell. Country candles, cinnamon sticks, tartwarmers, colonial tin lighting, old pottery and dishes brings a memory of good times not forgotten. By: Barry Pendley

Approaching Window TreatmentsWhen we consider window treatments there are many, many possibilities to choose from. The main thing besides the actual width and height of the window in relation to the room is the décor. Is the window going to be the visual focal point of the room? Or is it going to blend with the décor and be non- obtrusive. By: Regina Schwartz

It is more than just decorating your walls and painting your ceilings, it involves using your creative skills to make careful use of colour, light, touch, sound, and even smell in order to convey an aesthetically pleasing and appropriate "mood" in a room. Teak Wood Furniture

There is nothing like the look of natural wood in your yard or on your patio. Teakwood is a unique wood due to the natural oils and waxes it contains. This is from the oils and waxes in the wood drying out and the cellulose that is left behind reacting with oxygen in the air turns gray in color.

Even though teak wood is strong is can be bent slightly using steam and because it is naturally durable people find it the ideal choice when choosing patio furniture. Teak is the most durable wood furniture you can buy, with a life expectancy of about 75 years. By: Glenda Glen Stevens

Adirondack Is Back! It's not a big surprise that an all-American classic like the Adirondack Chair has made a huge come back in the last few years. This fad is spreading quickly as families all over America are taking the opportunity to spend their free time relaxing and kicking back in a carefully designed outdoor living space. I remember as a 6 year old kid, sliding completely into one of these great old chairs, my feet swinging over the edge, while my grandpa and I peeled the apples we picked and mused about the warm, homeade apple pie mounded with melting ice cream that we just knew granny would have for us after we ate supper. With cool lemonade on the wide arm rest, the breeze was soft and warm. When Grandpa told his stories it made time fly by. It's really no mystery why we like to unwind and relax outside, whether it's in your garden area, on the deck, out on the patio, or sitting on the porch watching the neighborhood. There just isn't a better way to do that than to sit down in a deep seated, high backed, comfortable Adirondack and leave your troubles behind.By: Tim Fuller
